Man Hue Duong was a toddler when her family escaped from the Fall of Saigon in 1978. After crossing the South China Sea to Malaysia, she nearly died of a fever in a refugee camp; two years later, her family finally immigrated to the U.S.
As a disadvantaged teen in upstate New York, she worked up to 50 hours a week to raise funds for her college education. She continued to work her way through the University of New York at New Paltz, earning two Bachelor's degrees and later, a Masters in Art Education from Queen's College.
Currently Man is a working professional ceramic artist, resident artist and teaching staff at 4 Elements Art Studio, yoga instructor and labor and postpartum doula. She has her E-RYT 200 and is also certified in children’s yoga, aerial yoga, SPRY (strength, power, resistance yoga). She is currently training at Kripula’s 300 hour School of Yoga.
She spent the past 11 years in Las Vegas, evolving as an artist and educator of art and yoga. She relocated back to the Central New York in 2017 and continues producing unique ceramic art and teaching art and yoga to children and adults of all ages.
